We are pleased to announce that BENDER GmbH & Co. KG has successfully completed our CLS interoperability tests. After previously achieving EEBUS qualification in the Living Lab, the seamless integration of the BENDER charge controllers via the PPC CLS adapter controller has now also been confirmed.
2025—a year of partnerships and innovation! The rollout of smart metering systems is in full swing, and the control system rollout—driven by Section 14a of the Energy Industry Act (EnWG) and Section 9 of the Renewable Energy Act (EEG)—is gaining significant momentum. In this context, the interoperability of our solutions with those of our partners in the market is a prerequisite. 2025 is therefore all about collaborative partnerships: Around 35 partners have joined our “PPC connect: Interoperability in Action” initiative this year.
Die Power Plus Communications AG (PPC) und ihre Tochtergesellschaft Coms4Grid sind gemeinsam mit der Pfalzwerke Netz AG erfolgreich in ein groß angelegtes WAN-as-a-Service-Projekt gestartet. Der Rollout begann Anfang Oktober 2025 und markiert einen wichtigen Schritt zur Digitalisierung der Energieinfrastruktur in Rheinland-Pfalz.
Mit der neuen Zertifizierung entwickelt sich das CLS-Portfolio von PPC zur vollumfänglichen Plattform für Multi-Use-Case-Anwendungen im Rollout. Energieversorger, Netzbetreiber oder Submetering-Dienstleister können auf ein leistungsfähiges, interoperables und durchgängig zertifiziertes System vertrauen und zugreifen. Anwendungsfelder abseits der bloßen Datenübertragung werden so weiter skalierbar.
Interoperabilität ist längst kein bloßes Schlagwort mehr – das zeigte jetzt eindrucksvoll die Enlit Europe. Sie wird zum Rückgrat eines intelligenten, resilienten und zukunftsfähigen Energiesystems.
Das internationale Event brachte führende Technologieanbieter zusammen, um die praktische Interoperabilität von Breitband-Powerline (BPL) Geräten auf Basis von Nessum für Mittel- und Niederspannungsnetzen unter realen Bedingungen zu demonstrieren.

With the FOX (Flexible without a Box) logistics and on-demand service from Power Plus Communications (PPC), metering point operators (MSBs) now have access to a standalone logistics service for the delivery of smart meter gateways, which significantly simplifies the management of the MSB supply chain without the need for additional SiLKe transport packaging or the MSB’s own SiLKe-authorized personnel.

With each measurement concept that is phased out, both project planners and grid operators are learning how to get tenant-generated electricity to end users more quickly. At the same time, the switching processes are becoming more standardized thanks to simplifications such as the Federal Network Agency’s AHB Strom 2.1.
