In diesem Kontext hat PPC bereits seit 2019 konsequent auf Elektromobilität umgestellt. Unsere Fahrzeugflotte wurde über die letzten Jahre von knapp 20 Dieselfahrzeugen auf inzwischen 17 vollelektrische Autos und 5 Hybride umgestellt. Dieser Schritt betont das Engagement für eine umweltbewusste Zukunft und die Rolle intelligenter Messsysteme bei der Digitalisierung der Energie-Infrastruktur, aber auch das erfreuliche Mitarbeiter-Wachstum, welches PPC selbst in den letzten Jahren verzeichnet hat. Es ist erfreulich zu sehen, dass wir mit der steigenden Zahl an PPClern weiter aktiv selbst Elektromobilität leben können. Letztendlich ist es auch nur möglich Herausforderungen nachzuvollziehen und neue Ideen um diese zu entwickeln, wenn man sich diesen tagtäglich selber stellt. Für neue Erkenntnisgewinne im Bereich der E-Mobilität dürfte unsere Innvoationsabteilung rund um Projekte wie „SMGW Forwards“ oder „Bidirektionales Laden“ der richtige Vorreiter sein.

Following the installation of our first charging station in 2019 PPC has migrated its entire fleet (previously 20 diesel vehicles) to 17 fully electric and five hybrid vehicles, including shareable ‚Dienstwagen‘. The company car park now boasts charging points for up to eight cars simultaneously, which can also be used by guests.

As well as contributing to our sustainability goals as a company, this action is in accordance with government strategy.
