Verbrauchstransparenz ist Grundlage für viele Dienste und ein wesentlicher Treiber der Digitalisierung und gleichzeitig eine der Kernforderungen der EU-Energieeffizienzrichtlinie, die aktuell in nationales Recht umgesetzt wird. Auch ist Verbrauchstransparenz die Voraussetzung für Effizienz, variable Tarife und Energieoptimierung. Das Smart Meter Gateway stellt die hierfür benötigen Informationen durch hochfrequente Messwerte bereit und nutzt standardisierte Tarifanwendungsfälle.
Disaggregation
Mit hochaufgelösten Daten erhalten Endkunden einen transparenten Einblick in ihren Energieverbrauch und können Stromfresser entlarven. Entscheidungen für Tarifangebote oder Investitionen z.B. in Speicher, sind ohne detaillierte Daten nicht zu treffen. Mit modernen Algorithmen der Disaggregation können hierfür sogar automatisiert Analysen durchgeführt und Lösungsangebote gefunden werden. Der Wert hochaufgelöster Daten wird deutlich, wenn sogar bei energiefernen Anwendungen wie der Seniorenbetreuung Abweichungen vom üblichen Verhalten detektiert werden können und hierdurch z.B. Betreuer rechtzeitig alarmiert werden.
Variable Tarife
Intelligenten Messsysteme ermöglichen variable und maßgeschneiderte Tarife. Mit diesen können Endverbraucher von den Preisunterschieden im Stromgroßhandel profitieren und/ oder ein für ihr Verbrauchsverhalten optimales Tarifangebot nutzen. So werden auch wirtschaftliche Anreize für angepasstes Verbrauchsverlagerung und Flexibilisierung von Lasten geschaffen.
