The eMobility business unit of MENNEKES Elektrotechnik GmbH & Co. KG has successfully completed interoperability testing for the EEBUS Limitation of Power Consumption (LPC) with our CLS adapter controller. MENNEKES and PPC celebrated this project success at this year’s Light + Building with the presentation of the PPC connect certificate and trophy.
This interoperability certification lays the foundation for a future-proof connection and simultaneously meets the requirements of the Technical Connection Regulations for Low Voltage (VDE-AR-N 4100).
We jointly tested the following:
- the wallboxes: AMTRON® Charge Control, AMTRON® Professional, AMTRON® Professional Twincharge, AMTRON® 4You 500, and AMTRON® 4Business 700
- the charging stations: AMEDIO® and Smart T PnC (NFC)
We worked closely with MENNEKES on the implementation. While MENNEKES contributed its expertise in charging infrastructure and e-mobility, the PPC CLS team was responsible for the control system integration and validation.
The PPC Test Kit played a crucial role in this process, enabling the relevant tests to be conducted efficiently and realistically under conditions that closely mimic real-world scenarios.
The next step is to implement automated commissioning to make the integration even more efficient, faster, and user-friendly in practice.
