E-home Project

In the Lower Saxony municipalities of Stuhr and Weyhe, the energy provider Avacon is implementing the “e-Home Energy Supply 2020” project. A total of 32 households are receiving financial support from Avacon as part of the project to turn the vision of the future of energy supply into a reality for themselves. With this subsidy, solar power systems, energy-efficient air conditioners, and electric cars will become part of the households of the future.

Challenge
Support for the “e-Home” project to build and evaluate the future of energy supply.

Solution
: Broadband powerline technology in low- and medium-voltage networks for real-time smart metering applications. The digital meters installed in households are connected to the controllable local distribution substations via PPC’s broadband powerline system.
