The BPL Headend (ETH) 6A from PPC, in DIN rail format, is used for the construction of broadband powerline (BPL) networks in low-voltage distribution grids. As the headend, it coordinates the communication of all associated repeaters and BPL smart meter gateways, and provides the transition to the backbone (via Ethernet).
