For over 75 years, the Forschungsstelle für Energiewirtschaft e. V. (FfE) has been bringing together scientific findings and practical applications to ensure a secure, efficient, and sustainable energy supply. As a panel of experts with offices in Munich and Berlin, the organization has been providing scientifically sound insights and quantitative analyses on the challenges facing the future energy sector for three-quarters of a century. Together with representatives from municipal utilities, industry, academia, and politics, the organization develops viable solutions—including in the areas of sector coupling, grid integration, and digitalization.
We are therefore delighted that, at this year’s general meeting, PPC CEO Ingo Schönberg was elected to the FfE Executive Board. As a new member of the Executive Board, Ingo Schönberg brings our many years of experience in digitalization, smart metering, and grid modernization.
As a PPC in this region, we are pleased to be able to contribute to the further development of the energy sector.
