This enables grid operators and other market participants to implement control commands to limit generation and consumption.   <\/strong><\/p><p>The implementation was carried out using existing systems and devices currently available, which shows that this comprehensive solution is already available to the broader market today.<\/p><p>In this process, control commands were transmitted via the BDEW Web API from the Robotron system to the PPC CLS Adapter using CLS.EEDI and then forwarded locally via the EEBUS protocol to Solar Manager\u2019s Home Energy Management System (HEMS). This demonstrated that the entire control chain complied with the requirements of Section 14a of the Energy Industry Act (EnWG) and Section 9 of the Renewable Energy Sources Act (EEG). <\/p><p>This solution bridges a critical gap between grid operators, market participants, and end consumers. It enables seamless, bidirectional control of generation and consumption units. Furthermore, this end-to-end solution optimizes the grid integration of prosumers and promotes their market integration. As a solution that is already available today, it provides metering point operators with all the tools they need for planning certainty and lays the foundation for a successful smart grid rollout.   <\/p><p>Kathrin Rust, Managing Director of Solar Manager GmbH, explains: \u201cImplementation via EEBUS enables us to execute digital control commands with precision and reliably forward feedback to our partners. This proves that the requirements of Section 14a of the Energy Economy Act (EnWG) and Section 9 of the Renewable Energy Sources Act (EEG) are technically feasible today and offers grid operators and market participants a future-proof solution.\u201d<\/p><p>PPC provided the CLS Adapter, which serves as the secure interface between the backend systems and the customer\u2019s installation. Robotron supplied the system architecture, including the BDEW Web API and CLS.EEDI as the communication protocol. At the end of the chain, Solar Manager ensures local control of the system via EEBUS as well as the correct feedback of executed switching commands to the partners in the system architecture.
