\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tFollowing its initial BSI certification, PPC has nearly completed the further development of the SMGW software and the implementation of new tariff application cases (TAFs). In doing so, we are incorporating valuable practical experience gained from operations into the further development. The recertified software can be installed on already installed devices by the gateway administrator via a remote update. \n

TAF9\/10 Ensure Network Visibility<\/strong>\n

New TAFs enable the SMGW to be used for grid monitoring and the detection of critical grid conditions. In addition to the already available TAFs 1, 2, 6, and 7, TAF 9 for the actual feed-in from generation facilities and TAF 10 for the transmission of grid status data will soon be available. This further underscores the great importance of the SMGW for grid monitoring in the context of the current provisions of Section 14a of the Energy Industry Act (EnWG) and for the detection of critical grid conditions. TAF 9 and TAF 10 enhance grid monitoring capabilities and, consequently, the ability to detect and forecast grid bottlenecks, enabling them to be identified early and countermeasures to be initiated. They thus also form the basis for the concept of conditional\/unconditional power provision within the framework of the new Section 14a concept. Our SMGWs are therefore \u201cSection 14a ready.\u201d \n

TAF14 Delivers Added Value for End Consumers<\/strong>\n

The rollout of the new TAF 14 (\u201cHigh-Frequency Meter Reading Provision for Value-Added Services\u201d) also enhances the appeal of the SMGW for end users. With this use case, metering point operators can offer their customers the visualization of high-resolution data and services based on it. The data can be transmitted at high frequency to external market participants. \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\n<\/div>\n
